The Pharos of Alexandria as the hero plate — the beam sweeps from the tower down to a small ship steering by its light. Landing (frontend/landing): headline moves to the top-left over the dark sky, and the left-column veil becomes a corner shield plus a light uniform scrim so the ship at bottom-left stays visible. The grayscale filter goes; the plate is already monochrome warm sepia in the same hue family as the site's cream. Mobile keeps the bottom-anchored layout. README: the same engraving under the header, soft-faded with feathered edges, as a dark/light pair that follows the GitHub theme.

Puts the Pharos of Alexandria engraving on the front of the project — the beam sweeps from the tower down to a small ship steering by its light.
