Hello. I have a folder where I've organized several related topics (16 in total) using a numbering system like 01, 02, etc. The first few are shown in the following image. I used a .txt file as the header or title for each topic. I removed the extension, gave it a green background, and numbered it 01.0, 02.0, etc., so it appears at the beginning of each topic. This way, the topics are organized and ordered according to their numbering into "sectors."
The following alternatives didn't convince me:
A) Using subfolders for each topic. This isn't a convenient option.
B) Tablacus's PLAN view, which displays the subfolders and their contents in a single view, is quite close to what I'm looking for, but the subfolders that would serve as titles for each topic aren't visually very prominent.
C) I don't like the native Windows 11 option for GROUPING files. The way it organizes groups in rows is inconvenient.
D) Grouping files with labels, colors, etc., isn't what I'm looking for.
What I'm looking for is shown in the following image.
I want to add a HEADER or TITLE that stands out with a larger font size, a different color than the file list, and even the option to add a colored background. This way, the list is divided into sections, each with its own title. The files can be numbered so that each one is located in its section. This way of organizing files could be thought of as a book's index, with the chapter title and the topics it contains.
Is it possible to create this special view for folders that contain many files and that I want to organize them in the way I've described? Thank you very much.
