Hi,
PNG image of sizes 16,32,48,64,128,256,512 are available in Telegram/Resources/art but missing the SVG image type. For some application/OS requires only SVG type image for it's operation.

Requesting to add SVG image in here Telegram/Resources/art.

Describe alternatives you've considered

In wikimedia there is a image https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Telegram_logo.svg with public domain if the licensing is compatible, it can be used.

For some application/OS requires only SVG type image for it's operation.

All officially supported OS support PNG just fine. I didn't get what you mean by "application" though.

I use Linux/KDE, for the dolphin share menus it takes only SVG images.

dolphin share menus? Not sure what menu it is but application menu seem to accept png just fine...

In dolphin, click on file share, in the that share menu telegram as no icon displayed. Later i figured out that telegram plugin in purpose trying to find the SVG in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/
But it can't find, because while installing the package, package manager (pacman) didn't not place the image in there. In the package build file it only installs PNG since there is No SVG image.

Are you sure it's the real reason? Maybe it's just using the wrong icon name?

Yes, i debugged. It only pick svg image.

I know, lot of work for a simple bug fix :). In future it may be useful.

I don't think you're right, I see it uses the wrong icon name (telegram instead of org.telegram.desktop)

I tried renaming, didn't work.

Of course it didn't work, there are caches. It should be fixed on KDE side to use the right icon.
