At RIKEN, we were trying to use the DDS system with full 16 channels. We ran into the problem with power distribution of the breakout board. It turns out that, due to the current drawn by each DDS board, the voltage drop on the power line (underneath the PCI connector) is large enough to create trouble.
Yamaguchi-san at RIKEN applied a hot-fix to this by routing manually each power line directly, but the breakout board should be modified to avoid this problem.
