π Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a π emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. π¨ Severity: HIGH
π‘ Vulnerability: External network requests (
AgentConnector) and shell command executions (ShellTool) lacked explicit execution timeouts and buffer/content length limits. This could allow hanging external services or intentionally large payloads to exhaust system resources, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability.π― Impact: If an LLM endpoint or a shell command hung indefinitely, or if it returned massive amounts of data, the agentic process would be exhausted of memory or block indefinitely.
π§ Fix: Added explicit
timeout(30000ms) andmaxBuffer/maxContentLength/maxBodyLengthlimits (1MB) to both theexecAsynccall and theaxiosinstance to enforce strict boundaries.β Verification: Ran
npm run testandnpm run buildlocally, ensuring existing tests still pass and the build succeeds. Tests did not hang, proving limits are safe for expected workloads.PR created automatically by Jules for task 17698338774627073693 started by @thirdbase1
