Redis Client Side Caching?

Hello everyone,

I recently came across this post discussing the drawbacks and trade-offs of using Redis.

Redis offers a server-assisted client-side caching feature that provides a solution to combine local cache with Redis.

Would the team be open to exploring the potential benefits of this feature?

Something worth looking into down the line if there's a lot of interest and people are brushing up against the tradeoffs of having a purely distributed cache. CSC is particularly useful when you have very hot keys that you don't want to go back to your distributed cache for. If that becomes a common problem, this could be a very useful solution.
