Isn't this abusing the purpose of github?

Hello, ofc everyone can create whatever repository he likes, but isn't this absolutely against what github is actually for? 

Imo this is pure advertising and it looks like it's even paid advertising
"Sponsors can help me to continue doing this by paying bills for my time and in return getting special benefits for it. This will allow me to spend even more time bringing the best."
