Changing UI language on MacOS fails

Hi,
MacOS 15.7.2, system language is italian, I set the UI language for Typora (trial period) to English in System Settings, but when Typora starts the menus are again in italian, and when I look again to System Settings, Typora language has been set back to italian.

How can I choose the UI language?

did you restart Typora after changing UI language?

Yes, but at the time the UI language could not be chosen in Typora preferences, and I changed it for the application in System Settings language preferences for applications. Typora ignored it, as I explained.
Now that the setting is available in Typora preferences, it works, thanks.
