Description

Trying to go into one of my boards to draw, ends up triggering the site's anti-adblocker, worst part about it that it doesn't really block the panel on the side, but I mainly use it to zap elements that were blocking my view. Possibly has to do with the domains it blocks.

Disable uBO and see if the detection still occurs.

Yes, already tried disabling it beforehand, and it did not trigger the anti-adblock. I should've mention this somewhere in the original post.

Test again using a new browser profile with only uBO and its default settings.

I've reset the extension to default settings (and disabled all other extensions), and uBlock still triggers it, sadly.

So the last attempt I did with the browser profile didn't pan out right, so I tried again, and somehow works??? I have no clue how to make of it, uBlock is updated to the latest version, so what does that even mean?

Since the issue does not occur with the new profile and uBO with default settings, it indicates that the issue with the original profile could be the result of settings you modified, using other browser extensions, or by having stored/cached data.

Okay, but I've reset my settings, I've cleared my data, and disabled all other extensions, that in theory should've done fixed the issue, but I very much would rather not start a whole new profile just to use Magma. Is there anything you can do to possibly help me with this???

Since we can't reproduce your specific configuration we won't be able to investigate your issue and determine what is causing it.

Okay, this sucks, but can you- if possible- guide me through everything I need to do to clear all data, so in theory I can use Magma again without having to factory reset my browser (as that's the last thing I want to do).

Also tried this on incognito mode, and it works, that gotta mean something.

I suggest using the new profile with only uBO and its default settings which works properly.

You can transfer bookmarks and passwords from the old profile to the new profile:

To transfer bookmarks:

1. Open the old profile
2. Press Control + Shift + O (Windows/Linux) or Command + Option + B (Mac)
3. Click the three dots
4. Select Export Bookmarks and export the .html file
5. Open the new profile
6. Press Control + Shift + O (Windows/Linux) or Command + Option + B (Mac)
7. Click the three dots
8. Select Import Bookmarks and import the .html file from step 4

To transfer passwords:

1. Open the old profile
2. Navigate to chrome://password-manager/settings
3. Scroll to Export passwords and export the .csv file
4. Open the new profile
5. Navigate to chrome://password-manager/settings
6. Select Import and import the .csv file from step 3
