Image blocking blocks favicons

• The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
• I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.

I tried to reproduce the issue when...

• uBO is the only extension.
• uBO uses default lists and settings.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

Currently all images are blocked including favicons. It would be nice to make an toggleable exception for the favicons.

Expected behavior

Favicon should be shown optionally if toggled in uBlock Origin.

It's still an image/picture, it loads in the IMG tag.

I know. It would be nice to whitelist favicons in uBlock Origin through some toggle. Since that might not be the intended result the user has.

How can uBO know which one is for favicon, and which ones are other images? Not all favicons end with .ico and it would add more work and code debts to dev for just few users wanting that when trying to separate more and more edge cases.

Just raise the limit of the image size past your troubled favicons to tell uBO not to block those images.
