the install instructions doesn't work at all

I have followed every steps, but can't run termkit. How to run it?

+1 for this too. I even figured out that I needed to change https://github.com/LearnBoost/Socket.IO.git to https://github.com/LearnBoost/socket.io.git (they downcased and renamed the repo), but the submodule revision doesn't exist any more.
