Maybe @lfades, @okbel, and @manovotny have some insights to share?

ya I thought about completely redoing this and hosting it on my personal account this repo is not being actively maintained.

I mean it's bad when you have issues that are pure spam:

discussion board enabled and we can discuss on best way to go forward and get ideas of what we want in this new template. I'll work on it more when I can. also welcome to open a PR.

I might move it to my org to use some paid features that might be nice to have on the repo.
