Is there a way to set a timeout on underlying requests calls?

The issue was reported previously but it's still very present: Sharepoint sometimes hangs indefinitely and request does not timeout by default.

It seems some way to set a timeout has been implemented (RequestOptions...), but it's still pretty obscure to me how to use it with execute_query.

I also think it would be interesting to set a finite default value for the timeout in RequestOptions.
