Code of Conduct

Expected conduct

Participants must communicate professionally, discuss technical work in good faith, respect different experience levels and backgrounds, protect private information, and keep contributions within the documented project scope.

Unacceptable conduct

Harassment, discrimination, threats, personal attacks, deliberate disruption, publishing another person's private information, credential disclosure, spam, and repeated disregard for maintainer direction are not acceptable.

Enforcement

Report conduct concerns privately through the repository maintainers or GitHub's reporting mechanisms. Maintainers may edit or remove content, restrict participation, lock discussions, or ban accounts when necessary to protect the project and its participants.

Enforcement decisions should be proportionate, documented where appropriate, and handled with confidentiality. Retaliation against a person who reports a concern in good faith is prohibited.

Scope

This policy applies to repository issues, pull requests, reviews, discussions, releases, and other spaces where a participant represents the YGit Schema project.
