[Bug] Globe example not displaying as expected

I'm attempting to run the maplibre-globe example and it doesn't seem to be working. I upgraded the versions in the package.json to 9.1 and still no luck.

Am I doing something wrong? I assumed all should be working given the change log update.

Here's a video of what's happening on my end:

Steps to Reproduce

1. npm install in example directory
2. npm start in example directory
3. Pan and rotate globe view around

Environment

• Framework version: deck.gl@9.1.5
• Browser: Chrome 134.0.6998.89
• OS: Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2

Pitching is not currently supported on the deck.gl side as far as I know. You need to disable on the MapLibre instance via:

dragRotate: false,
pitchWithRotate: false,
rollEnabled: false,
maxPitch: 0,

Can we close this issue? These docs oughta be enough for developers debugging this limitation at this point?

I do hope to put in some work to support pitch/bearing shortly though. Trying to triage all the Globe issues to put together a clean task report.

Nice! This is a frequent integration issue Maplibre Globe users are reporting, although with a simple workaround to disable, it’s going to be good to have it supported properly
