Feature Request: Built-in Feedback Functionality in Admin Interface
Description
Currently, there is no streamlined way for users to submit feedback directly from within the admin interface. This proposal suggests adding an integrated feedback mechanism to simplify issue reporting and improve the quality of submitted feedback.
Goal
Enable users to submit feedback directly from the admin UI with automatically attached contextual information, reducing friction and increasing the usefulness of reports.
Proposed Functionality
-
Dedicated “Send Feedback” button within the admin interface
-
Ability to capture and attach a screenshot directly from the UI
-
Automatic inclusion of relevant context data, such as:
- Current page URL
- Browser and device information
- Relevant application/debug metadata (non-sensitive)
-
Optional text input for user-provided descriptions
Reference
Similar functionality can be found in various modern web-based admin tools (e.g., cloud service consoles).
Expected Benefits
- Lower barrier for users to report issues or provide feedback
- More complete and actionable reports
- Reduced back-and-forth due to missing contextual information
Priority
- Current: Low (nice-to-have)
- Future: Potentially High, depending on measurable improvements in feedback quality
