I had the same problem unzipping a Linux archive on Windows, having all the Russian letters scrambled. Couldn't compile this app but 7zip did unzip the archive correctly (unlike WinRaR).

Did you try 7zip for your archives? Should it be mentioned on the README of this project? Thank you.

I have an archive that doesn't get correctly unpacked even by 7zip. But this app helped me!
