In the near future Do you guys have a JSON Schema that a flow could conform to or is this out of scope?

yes we already have a schema in place ... I can formalize this with a schema spec..here is the current structure for a simple approval flow. Essentially we have the metadata, nodes, edges, annotations as the top level structure:
