I concluded that windows auto-update failures appear to duplicate existing open reports of first-attempt Inno Setup update failures on Windows..

Duplicate reasoning

• Updating Warp on Windows fails every first time #8339: The incoming issue explicitly references this open report, which describes Windows updates closing Warp, showing an error on the first attempt, and succeeding only after restarting and retrying.
• GUI initiated updates consistently failing on Windows on first attempt #9114: This report matches the same Windows GUI update path and first-attempt failure pattern, including the need to reopen Warp and initiate the update again.
• Warp for Windows crushing during the update #5758: This report describes clicking Update Warp on Windows, Warp closing, and an error that the file is blocked or in use by another process, which overlaps the same installer/file-lock failure mode.
