Recommend to use this minifier to minify js and css.

I have tried many minifiers, and believe this is the best one to provide css and js minified.

Have you tried the newer versions of https://packagist.org/packages/tubalmartin/cssmin?
I know the lib you talk about and regarding CSS minification, it's pretty simple. It would not pass half of the tests cssmin passes. Just my 2 cents ;)
