At the moment BD can properly read input source name from webOS. However webOS sometimes clears the custom input name and icon on port disconnection.
For DDC controlled displays in BD the input source name can be manually overridden, which can be quite convenient from time to time. At the moment I run a bscpylgtv script to set the input names when the names got reset on TV. It's an improvement but not a long-term solution.
So, a feature request - It would be great if BD can persist custom input names, that would be great. And further, if BD detects input name got reset and overwrite the changes through network, that would be even better.
(HDMI 4 name got reset - it should be the name of my desktop)
