We had a case where user made an RSS bot to post to a channel. Then they archived the channel but the bot was writing to it - spamming constantly (due to a misconfiguration). However no one knew the bot was spamming the channel because it was archived and invisible to the user. We only found out by looking at the database (This is on MM server 7.8.1).
Support says that archived channels are read-only, however the bot is bypassing that limitation.
