Hi @willynilly,

I’ve made this package an optional dependency of jsonschema a while ago, and since it appears to be no longer maintained, I’m considering adopting it to ensure continued availability for users.

Would you be open to granting me the necessary permissions on this repository so I can maintain it here?
If not, I’m also prepared to publish a maintained fork on PyPI, as outlined in this ticket: jkowalleck#1

Thank you for adding me as a collaborator — and I’m really sorry to hear you’ve been unwell. I hope you’re recovering and feeling better again.

Regarding permissions, here’s what I’ll need so I can properly help maintain the project:

PyPI

may be configured here: https://pypi.org/manage/project/rfc3987-syntax/collaboration/
Please grant my account (https://pypi.org/user/jkowalleck/) the “Owner” role for the package:

• this will allow me to work on issue chore(release): use PyPI Trusted Publisher Management #16
• and, if necessary, yank releases with critical bugs in the future
  Once things are stable, we can reduce these permissions to a more minimal long‑term setup.

GitHub

Please grant me “Admin” permission on the repository.

• this will let me configure branch protection and enable or adjust GitHub’s security and health features
  As with PyPI, we can later tune this down so I can still triage issues and review pull requests without full admin rights.

Let me know once these are set, and I’ll start working through the backlog. 👍
