v2 is not compatible with Livewire v3 due to the deprecated hook method.

From my point of view, there are two possible options:

1. Checking for function Livewire.hook('request') in wire-extender.js.
2. Declare wire-extender v2 as compatible only with Livewire v4 going forward.

@PhiloNL could you decide which direction you prefer? I would prepare a PR accordingly.
