Stats: HTML characters are not rendered correctly #18723

Reported in 6477209-zd-woothemes. And seems like a similar issue reported here: #15923

Expected behavior

HTML characters like & should render as it is.

Actual behavior

HTML character & was displayed as & in the Stats.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Create a category with the & character.
  2. Assign a post to the category.
  3. Visit the category page and the post to get the stats recorded.
  4. Go to My Site > Stats > Insights > Add stats card, and add the "Tags and Categories" card to the screen.
  5. Select the category with the & character.
  6. Observe that the & character is displayed as &.
