Cursor not responsive when tapping different areas of the editor

Expected behavior

When tapping in the editor, the cursor should appear in the place that was tapped.

Actual behavior

The cursor doesn’t always move to the tapped location.

(I am able to replicate this behavior on my Samsung Galaxy S9+.)
