For the moment some of the tools were not updated for Windows.

Do you know of another binary distribution that provides a m4 Windows binary, so I can take a look at the build script?

I am trying find too a way to compile m4 in windows

The only distribution that I am aware is https://packages.msys2.org/packages/m4, but I am trying to compile and run m4 without this msys2 ecosystem, and let it run with simple git bash shell and mingw from https://winlibs.com/

I found this https://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/m4.htm but it's 1.14 and compiled for 32 bit.

I tried to build a windows package. The build passed, but the resulting binary is not functional.

Unfortunately I don't have time to diagnose the issue.
