Kodi

  • Download and install Kodi from here.

2. Option 1: Kodi v18

RetroPlayer is a new player core for Kodi (v18). It is similar to the video and audio players, but it plays games instead of movies and music. See here for more info.

or

2. Option 2: Retroarch

Retroarch

  • Download and install Retroarch.
    • Windows, OSX users: Download Retroarch from here.
    • Linux users: Install Retroarch with from the PPA. See here for stable releases and here for nightly releases.
    • Raspberry Pi users: Install the Kodi addon Gamestarter to install Retroarch directly from Kodi.
    • LibreElec users (both x86 and RPi) have 2 options: Use the LibreElec "Remix" build here which includes Retroarch, or use the Kodi addon Gamestarter to install Retroarch directly from Kodi.

or

2. Option 3: Both

You can use both Kodi v18 and Retroarch, and mix and match how the games will be launched.

3. IAGL Addon

IAGL

  • Option 1: Download my repository zipfile from here to install the addon and get automatic updates.

or

  • Option 2: Download the latest version zipfile from here to install by zipfile. Note, you need to select the zip file link from github and then hit the download button on the right to download the file correctly - github is weird that way.

Don't know how to install Kodi addons? See info here on how to install a repository or an addon in Kodi.
